Disneyland – No visit to Southern California is complete without a visit to the “Happiest Place on Earth.”  Visit Walt Disney’s original vision located in Anaheim and enjoy both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.  Disney Performing Arts programs include workshops and performance.

Knott’s Berry Farm: With over 165 rides, shows and attractions in five themed areas, Knott’s Berry Farm brings fun and thrills to a new level. Take a high thrills ride on the new WindSeeker or Xcelerator, stroll through the Park’s Old West Ghost Town® or hang with the Peanuts Gang in Camp Snoopy!

Universal Studios Hollywood: This movie-based theme park features such groundbreaking rides and shows plus the world-renowned Studio Tour, which takes guests behind-the-scenes of landmark TV and movie locations and sets. Universal CityWalk features 65 entertainment-themed restaurants, nightclubs, shops and dynamic entertainment options.

Santa Monica Pier – With a carousel, an arcade, an amusement park, and restaurants, the Santa Monica Pier offers a wide range of activities for the student traveler. The Pier marked its Centennial in 2009, making it one of California’s oldest pleasure piers.

Six Flags Magic Mountain: Six Flags Magic Mountain is the go-to park for thrills featuring world-class roller coasters and over 100 rides, games and attractions. Located in Valencia, north of Los Angeles, it is freeway close to Los Angeles and Anaheim locations.

Theatre – Live theatre is thriving in Southern California.   Many musicals and symphonic production with headliners are launched at Hollywood’s historic Pantages Theatre, L.A.’s Ahmanson Theatre, and Costa Mesa’s Segerstrom Center.  Outstanding performances are also available at the many fine colleges and universities in the area.
